1. Platform Role

Your Cyprus Holiday (“Platform”) operates exclusively as an online marketplace and booking intermediary. We connect guests seeking accommodation in Cyprus with property owners and managers (“Hosts”) who list their properties on the Platform.

Your Cyprus Holiday is not an accommodation provider, travel agency, tour operator, or property manager. We do not own, operate, manage, or control any of the properties listed on the Platform. We do not employ or contract with Hosts, nor do we act as their agent.

The contractual relationship for accommodation is formed directly between the Guest and the Host. Your Cyprus Holiday is not a party to that agreement and bears no responsibility for its performance.

2. No Guarantee of Listing Accuracy

All property listings, including descriptions, photographs, amenities, pricing, availability, and location information, are created and maintained by Hosts. While we encourage Hosts to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Your Cyprus Holiday:

  • Does not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of any listing.
  • Does not inspect, visit, or audit listed properties.
  • Cannot guarantee that photographs accurately represent the current state of the property.
  • Does not warrant that the property will meet your expectations or specific requirements.

Guests are encouraged to communicate directly with Hosts to clarify any questions about the property before confirming a booking.

3. No Liability for Property Conditions

Your Cyprus Holiday accepts no responsibility or liability for the condition, safety, quality, legality, or suitability of any property listed on the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • The physical condition, cleanliness, or maintenance of the property.
  • The accuracy of the property's described features and amenities.
  • The safety of the property, its surroundings, or access routes.
  • Noise, disturbances, or other environmental factors at or near the property.
  • Any personal injury, illness, or death that occurs at or in connection with the property.
  • Loss of, theft of, or damage to personal belongings during a stay.

4. No Liability Insurance Provided

Your Cyprus Holiday does not provide insurance of any kind for Guests, Hosts, or properties.

  • We do not offer or arrange property insurance, public liability insurance, travel insurance, or any other form of coverage.
  • Hosts are solely responsible for maintaining adequate insurance for their properties and rental activities.
  • Guests are solely responsible for arranging their own travel and health insurance.

We strongly recommend that all users obtain appropriate insurance coverage before listing a property or travelling.

5. Property Owner Legal Compliance

Property owners are solely responsible for ensuring their property and rental activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements, including:

  • Local zoning and planning regulations governing short-term rentals.
  • Registration and licensing requirements, including Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) registration where applicable.
  • Health and safety regulations, including fire safety standards.
  • Tax obligations, including income tax declarations and VAT compliance.
  • Data protection obligations under the GDPR and Cyprus data protection law.

Your Cyprus Holiday does not verify Hosts' compliance with any legal requirements and accepts no liability for any Host's failure to comply. The listing of a property on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement of the property's legal status or the Host's compliance with applicable regulations.

6. Guest Travel Insurance

Guests are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance before travelling to Cyprus. This should include, at a minimum:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption coverage.
  • Medical and emergency evacuation coverage.
  • Personal belongings and baggage coverage.
  • Personal liability coverage.

Your Cyprus Holiday is not responsible for any losses, costs, or expenses incurred due to trip cancellation, illness, injury, or any other event that may be covered by travel insurance.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites and services, including those of our payment processor (Stripe) and other service providers. These links are provided for your convenience. Your Cyprus Holiday:

  • Does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

While we strive to ensure that the information on the Platform (outside of user-generated content) is accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the Platform or the information contained on it.
